Hello! I'm Grahame
I am a Clinical Psychologist with focus areas in general anxiety, trauma, working with anger, and sleep difficulties (including unsettling dreams).
I work exclusively via telehealth due to its flexibility and it is accessible from across Australia.
I’m married with three adult children, plus I enjoy running and walking with our border collie, Eddie.
I use a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) approach and, where appropriate, I may draw on the following evidence-based trauma therapies:
Written Exposure Therapy (WET) - This is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps people process traumatic memories through guided writing, typically over five sessions. For some people, it can be an effective and focused approach to reducing trauma symptoms.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) - EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that uses guided eye movements to help people process traumatic or distressing experiences and reduce their ongoing impact.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) - CPT is a structured therapy for trauma that helps people examine distressing thoughts related to what happened and develop more balanced, helpful ways of understanding the experience.
My qualifications are:
• Bachelor of Science with Honours from UNSW
• Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Wollongong
• I am a fellow of the College of Clinical Psychologists (APS)
• I have undertaken additional training in my focus areas.
My fee is $285 for a 50-minute consultation.
Medicare rebate is $145 if applicable with a valid GP referral.
I work with adults 18 years and over.
I provide service for NDIS and DVA clients, but I am not set up to be able to undertake Worker’s Compensation or Motor Vehicle Accident service.
